Anna Sapozhnikova, Ph.D.

Welcome

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in San Francisco specializing in psychological assessment and psychotherapy.  I work with adults as well as older adolescents and their families.

I provide short- and long-term therapy for depression, anxiety, ADHD, anger, trauma, life transitions and relationship difficulties.  My approach to treatment is active and collaborative and involves bringing together evidence based emotion-focused, cognitive-behavioral, and relational interventions.

Not only do I aim to help clients manage difficult symptoms such as anxiety and depression, but also help them develop a more global sense of competence, strengthen a sense of personal identity, and expand the capacity to experience pleasure and contentment in life.
